Amazing architecture, great location however the services are not as professional as other more experienced places are. For example, no security at the entrance (although the area is super safe), you need to pay extra for room service(although it's less than 5 euros and you might not care about that), no flipflops or coffe maker in the room, etc. Small things. Not much. But you notice it if your're looking for it. Overall I recommend it and unless you have very high expectations you will be more than happy with this hotel.

Uma velha casa localizada no centro de Bucareste em um bairro cheio de aromas do início do século XX. Móveis antigos, espelhos de cristal monumentais, candeeiros de pé, fogões, escadas interiores em carvalho maciço, parquet, adega, todos originais e de qualidade excepcional. Belo jardim. Banheiros modernamente equipados com o estilo arquitetônico de cada quarto. Pessoal muito amigável.

I will not return to this hotel. When I checked out, I was told I needed to pay 186 RON for two bloody Mary’s. For comparison, an upscale cocktail bar in Bucharest charges between 30-40 RON per cocktail and those are not made with boxed juice. In the end, he allowed me to pay 100 RON, which is still a lot. I feel as though I was taken advantage of and it was a disappointing ending to an otherwise lovely stay. The hotel is really beautiful. It’s too bad I will not be coming again.

What a beautiful hotel! And the room is HUGE maybe 50 square meters! The hotel looks like the inside of the titanic! Also there is a powerful AC, and a lot of parking outside. Very quiet.

My wife and I spent some wonderful days in this beautiful boutique hotel. Old mansion-like building, well preserved, good ambiance, nice garden. Friendly and welcoming staff. Neighborhood about 15 minutes walk to the city center, somewhat rundown, but safe, for us this added to the adventure feeling. We took a lot of Uber which was very convenient.

An absolute amazingly restored building, transformed, after a huge investment - I guess - into a very elegant and cosy hotel: everything is very well done, from the terrace and entrance to the hall, lobby and stairs, from the cuisine and restaurant to the rooms! Bravo, an excellent work with some excellent results! PS: I've presented myself as a traveler who make reviews and I asked them to let me make pictures but, unfortunately, a very polite but sturdy lady interdicted me - I didn't understand why? is this the local policy? Even so, I gave them 5 stars, it is an awesome place, in the center of Bucharest, in a neighborhood who has an unbelievable retro atmosphere! Go there, you'll see...

I can't remember ever being so overwhelmed by a hotel. Once you walk up the stairs into the reception you are swept away to a bygone time of opulence and grandeur. Yes the floor creaks when you walk on it. But so would you if you were 100years old. The staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast is a mix of standard fayre and traditional Romanian. The rooms ( and we've seen 3) range from fabulous to stunning. If we could give this hotel 6 stars we would. And if we ever come back to Romania we'll stay here again.

Espectacular hotel de cuento de hadas. Originalmente era una casa de un banquero griego, ahora sus nietos la han alquilado con mobiliario original para el hotel. Servicio, limpieza, comida, y atención excelente. Al lado del centro, muy recomendable !!!!
