We had started at another hotel and had a bad experience and we moved to this one mid trip and let me tell you I am so glad we changed. I wish we has just booked this one from the start. Brian at the front desk was sooo welcoming. He gave advice on where to go what to do and was just so friendly. He made us feel like he had known us for years and was welcoming a friend. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The rooms are clean and plenty of room. Love the windows. Also has a great location you can walk to mostly everything. Tínhamos começado em outro hotel e tivemos uma experiência ruim e nos mudamos para essa viagem no meio da viagem e deixe-me dizer que estou muito feliz por termos mudado. Habíamos comenzado en otro hotel y tuvimos una mala experiencia y nos mudamos a este a mitad de viaje y déjame decirte que estoy muy contento de haber cambiado. Ojalá hubiéramos reservado este desde el principio. Brian en la recepción fue muy acogedor. Dio consejos sobre dónde ir qué hacer y fue muy amable. Nos hizo sentir como si nos conociera desde hace años y le diera la bienvenida a un amigo. El hotel en sí es precioso. Las habitaciones están limpias y con mucho espacio. Me encantan las ventanas. También tiene una excelente ubicación a la que puedes caminar casi todo.

The sheets were so itchy and dirty. The old wooden floors were beautiful but dirty and sticky. There was a band playing until at least midnight below us, which was actually the best part of our stay falling asleep to music. The location u is s fantastic and other than not answering the front desk phone the staff were very helpful. We lived in Savannah for 5 years and come back often. We will definitely be staying next door at the Bohemian for our future trips since it’s superior in every way. We thought we’d take a chance on a new place and it wasn’t good. An absolute must for any decent place to rest is a clean room and decent sheets. Os lençóis estavam tão coçando e sujos. Os velhos pisos de madeira eram bonitos, mas sujos e pegajosos. Havia uma banda tocando até pelo menos meia-noite abaixo de nós, o que na verdade foi a melhor parte de nossa estadia adormecer ao som da música. Rooms nice but old.Great location.Bar on rooftop was awful, no service, waited long time and had to get drinks ourselves.It was dirty and rundown, smelly. Music was static coming in and out. We had to leave and eat elsewhere.One of the servers had 4 tables outside but was hanging out behind bar drinking red bull and not doing his job.Hotel not even close to worth the money, flanked by Bohemian and Marriott which were so much better!! Totally disappointed. Habitaciones bonitas pero viejas. Buena ubicación. El bar en la azotea era horrible, no había servicio, esperó mucho tiempo y tuvimos que conseguir bebidas nosotros mismos. Estaba sucio y deteriorado, maloliente. La música entraba y salía estática. Tuvimos que irnos y comer en otro lugar. Uno de los servidores tenía 4 mesas afuera pero estaba pasando el rato detrás de la barra bebiendo red bull y no haciendo su trabajo. ¡El hotel ni siquiera vale la pena, flanqueado por Bohemian y Marriott, que eran mucho mejores! Totalmente decepcionado.
We arrived and to start off, the room was in the corner of an area to where it wasn't fitting so well. The door to the room, when opened went into the bathroom. You banged your chins if you got out of bed with out first thinking...and when we asked for a different room it was like we committed a crime. For what they charge here, they sure should be most accommodating. It was not a family environment sort of hotel to top it all. Very disappointing. We left and got to another much more comfortable and welcoming hotel. These "boutique" sort of hotels just aren't for most. Do not believe the good reviews and take the bad ones seriously! This place is the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The whole hotel smelled like sweaty feet. The shower head was growing black mold. The first room they gave us wasn't even clean before arrival. I had to complain to get moved because they first offered to have the maintenance guy clean it while we watched. The air conditioner barely worked. It took all night for it to cool down to a comfortable sleeping temperature. There is no help with luggage and there was only two carts. I could go on but I am over it and will never stay at a Hilton property ever again! Não acredite nas boas críticas e leve as ruins a sério! Este lugar é o hotel mais desagradável que eu já fiquei. Todo o hotel cheirava a pés suados. O chuveiro estava crescendo mofo preto. O primeiro quarto que nos deram nem estava limpo antes da chegada. Eu tive que reclamar para me mudar porque eles primeiro se ofereceram para que o cara da manutenção o limpasse enquanto assistíamos. O ar condicionado mal funcionava. Levou a noite toda para esfriar a uma temperatura confortável para dormir. Não há ajuda com a bagagem e havia apenas dois carrinhos. Eu poderia continuar, mas já superei e nunca mais ficarei em um estabelecimento Hilton!

Estava sujo e degradado, fedorento. A música era estática entrando e saindo. Tivemos que sair e comer em outro lugar. Um dos servidores tinha 4 mesas do lado de fora, mas estava atrás do bar bebendo red bull e não fazendo seu trabalho. Hotel nem perto de valer o dinheiro, ladeado por Bohemian e Marriott, que eram muito melhores! ! Totalmente decepcionado.

The staff at this hotel were all amazing. I truly felt like I was appreciated as a customer. First class customer service. The rooms were clean and nice. IWish they would have had mini fridges but that wasn’t a huge deal. The location was perfect and very centrally located. El personal de este hotel fue increíble. The rooms have a slight musky smell but that is expected given the age of the building (hence historic). Visitamos este hotel un viernes por la noche hasta el sábado. I booked this hotel under the false pretense that it was an extravagant 4-star hotel. How could any hotel keep 4 stars when NONE of the rooms have a microwave OR mini fridge. Thank God we only stayed one night, so our food and beverages didn't completely ruin. They don't even have a microwave in the lobby or anywhere. They do have restaurants on the roof (I wouldn't even be able to reheat leftovers, which is a rip off AND a health risk), but everything is way overpriced, of course, because they have a breathtaking view of the river up there (The only thing this hotel truly has going for it by the way). They have mandatory valet parking, which seems nice, but they keep your keys during the whole stay, which means I didn't have access to my vehicle unless they let me have access, which causes my anxiety to be terrible. Not to mention, they charge you $39 for this service that I didn't even want in the first place. When we were checking in, it took a while for the system to audit, forcing us to wait. They were nice enough to give us free complimentary water bottles, but we couldn't keep them cold anyway since they don't have refrigerators. I should have done more research before booking this room. Surely ANY other hotels would be better than this one, and more convenient. They trick you into booking with photos of nice rooms, and the view on their website.
